Today I drove my PICNIC to Crown Motors (North Point) for maintenance. The mileage is 69103. It has not been serviced for over half year. I have joined the “Toyota Service All Out Offer”. I will get one free Standard Service charge for every 4 services in 2 years. However, I have paid $600 for joining this offer.
The service today will be the free offer but I was shocked by various maintenance items they suggested such as
Supreme Engine & Cleaning & Flushing ServiceEngine Throttle Valve Clean
The total charges are over $3,000. In addition, the warranty of air conditioner has expired and asked me to extend 2 years for over $2,600. Finally, I refused to join.
Sometimes, Maintenance from the original manufacturer is very expensive but you will keep your car in perfect condition in return.
