I have used firefox instead of ie since the launch of firefox. The best feature is there are many extension/addin for it. One of the best of the best is greasemonkey.
There are many scripts for greasemonkey. Recently, I come across a scripts called LookItUp2. You can quickly look something up in wikipedia, a dictionary or whatever you like by pressing a short cut key. In addition, you can get beautiful search results on the build in sites, you should also install the LookItUp2 userstyle (This requires theStylish plugin).
If you want to add your own search by the following steps:
e.g. http://dictionary.yahoo.com.tw
1. Go the the site and any search target, e.g. “words”2. Copy the link2. Click Greasemonkey icon, user scripts command, LookitUp2 Settings3. Click “New site”, enter the “Name” and paste the “Url”4. Add [ and ] enclosing “words”5. Enter “x” as your key. save
How to use ?1. Go to any webpage2. select any target you want to search, press ‘x’3. Your search results appear.
